Backing The Pack Since 1995

The Tulsa Packer Backers was established in 1995 in a little bar called The Half Yard Line in mid-town Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since those humble beginnings 25 years ago, our membership has grown to over 600 card carrying members annually. We've long out grown our original stomping grounds and moved to Remington's Sports Bar in the Tulsa Marriott Hotel.

What Makes Us Unique?

Aside from the obvious, a collection of Packer fans in Oklahoma, we've blazed a trail for many Packer fan clubs through out the U.S.

First of all, we have a Tailgate Party EVERY game day, rain or shine, in the parking lot of the hotel. The tailgate typically starts 2 hours before kick off for the noon games, 3 hours before for later games. With the exception of 'Special Tailgates', the club will have a grill out there that you are welcome to use, bring out your favorite grillable edibles and beverages of choice. A few times a year we have a 'Special Tailgate' party that we provide the grub and suds in exchange for a cash or toy donation to our Cheeseheads For Charity drive supporting Toys For Tots.

Just like in our first year, our annual membership is still $1.00. As a member, you qualify for half time door prizes every game. We also have some big ticket items that we sell raffle tickets for.

The club also has Tulsa Packer Backer T-shirts for sale. Each year we have a new design, so you'll want to collect some each year.

And as mentioned earlier, In 1998 the Tulsa Packer Backers decided to cash in on all the good press we were getting after the Superbowl victory to help give back to the community. We established the Cheeseheads For Charity drive in which we've donated to several local and national charities. Since 2000 our primary charity has been Toys For Tots and we have donated over $200,000 worth of toys and bikes to them.
